That is really such an invasion into a cat’s privacy. where do we draw the line? i’m moving (with my cat) to canada.

thats pretty inventive, only useful if you animal comes back though.

How about this for a challege, a Motion powered collar like the flashlights your charge by shaking. With a GPS and Wifi with a memory card, maybe even a camera. As the pet roams around it takes pictures and records GPS locations and as it comes within range of any Open Wifi connection it will upload data to a FTP site for use with mapping software and picture viewing. Then making all this small enough and light enough for a pet to carry without being annoyed.
