Didn’t the last entry suggest these dates are worthless?

These dates are always wrong. I will eat my hat if it is out on 9/25.

How about a desent picture of the AT&T Tilt. The one with the white keys and blue FN button looks ugly. Also the keyboard looks sunken in compared to the flush HTC TyTN II.

Uhhh doesn’t at&t htc tilt=kaiser=8925=TyTN II? How is the keypad modified?

Have you not seen the photo floating around?

The HTC TyTNII is sleek looking with a same color keys and flush keyboard in the bottom housing. The one in this photo looks like a badly designed 8525 with tilt and ugly keys and if you look closely, the keyboard is more sunken in. I know the image states “not the final product” but that is a poor example of a TyTN II.

Right, but as the slide shows, “image not representative of final device design.” We’ll have to wait and see.

Anyone know anything about the reception of this device? I tried the iPhone for two days when the price dropped, but there were a few areas that lacked any reception and in general i found the signal strength to fluctuate quite a bit.
Also, is there generally a restocking fee on these devices? I had to pay 40$ to return the iphone despite the fact that i had signal problems…

I think you dont know what your talking about. The Tytn II/Kaiser are the same device. The keyboard is not sunken, but has a little rim that is raised slightly above the keyboard. It may look sunken in due to the angle. Look here: http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/index.php/2007/09/07/htc_tytn_ii_review
It looks like in one of the pictures the keyboard is sunken because of the angle. It just has that little lip. That was a tytn ii review. Watch the numerous videos of htc kaiser and you will see it has that exact same lip. They are the same unit.

Is the U.S. version going to have 2 cameras or just the one? In the BG pic, there’s no pic on the front but maybe that’s the one with no camera?

925 what other day would they have picked…

I hope this date sticks. I want it badly.

I’ve heard many places that the AT&T Tilt will not have the camera on the front.

The US version has one camera on the back only. We don’t have very good support for videoconferencing here in the US yet.

I hope this thing is exactly like the TyTN II without the front VGA cam. Because if (AND ONLY IF) it looks like that I might have to get a Pantech DUO or a Moto Q9 global. I hope this date sticks otherwise some shit is goin’ down!!!

Ummmmm dont you all understand the way lighting can make something look different? It is EXACTLY like the Kaiser you see everywhere else. The keyboard is NOT indented. There is just a little lip that goes up around the keyboard like the Kaiser. Compare the NUMEROUS pictures and video reviews already, and you will see. Unless of course you are too dense to see it.

That’s cool. Then someone show me a real photo of the AT&T 8925. Not the one that’s floating around that was edited by photoshop showing the front camera removed.
I guess my zoom is broken or it’s a lighting effect. I guess the FN key is not blue or the number keys are not white. Yep, looks exactly like the HTC version. No Biggie, I have to wait and see.

I was refering to the one where someone flipped out because there was in indent and the keyboard was sunken in. I was pointing out that overall the body is the same. Of course minus the front camera on the American version, but overall still the same body.
