Koreans order Big Macs from their cell; Grimace unlikely to be early adopter
It’s a common dilemma: you love fast food, but hate exerting more energy than you have to by standing up and waiting in line. In a move seemingly tailor-made for the lazy North American, McDonald’s-goers in South Korea no longer have to choose between unhealthy eating and sloth. Simply sit down at your table, plug an RFID reader into your cell phone, then point it at the items you want on the menu. A text message lets you know when your food is ready, and the cost of the meal is charged to your phone bill. Now if only the cell phone would feed you the fries…now THAT’s progress!

Interesting.
