Want your $100 Apple credit? Go get it!

For all you’z that hate the Apple iPhone, we’re sorry, but news is news. Apple just launched a website for customers wishing to obtain that $100 store credit. It involves entering your iPhone serial number and phone number, receiving a text message with a code, and then using that code to claim your credit. Definitely sneaky. You also must claim said credit before November, 30th or your back to square one…

Thanks, Saud!

    I got mine.

Even though I sold the iPhone weeks after getting it. Guess it doesn’t matter.

    Beware of the fine print:

Customers may not redeem their store credits: (1) at any iTunes Store in the United States or elsewhere, (2) Apple Store locations outside the United States; (3) at Apple resellers; (4) for cash; (5) to purchase Apple Gift Cards, or,iTunes Store Gift Certificates, to give iTunes Store content as gifts, or to create iTunes Store allowances; or (6) as payments on Apple accounts.

yeah they want you to buy physical things, not iTunes stuff.

well alot of people have been waiting for this, maybe someone will put out a decent case and use the credit on that.

i went and got my credit
    i printed the page
then i saved the page just to make sure i had a record of it.
when i pulled that saved page back up the credit and pin # info was different than the original printed copy.
now i have two refund #’s.
i wonder if both #’s will work and give me $200 back?

Devices purchased between August 22 and September 4 are eligible to get $200 refunded because of Apple’s price protection policies. To get the refund, however, claims must be made by September 19.

So can it check the Serial # to check activation and then send the code to another Text-capable cell #?

Well the most bag for your buck is iTunes but they have alot to choose from. If you hav an Apple store in your area you might go down to see in person. My suggestion is a good case, I will be looking tomorrow for a decent one.
