Pantech Duo says, “nice to meet you”
There are a couple things not confirmed ever since we broke the Pantech C810 Duo story. For starters, we knew it would have 3G but what kind of 3G? Well friends, it turned out to be HSDPA. Yeah! AT&T has nabbed the Pantech Duo as a "lifetime exclusive", and it will sport a 1.3 megapixel camera. The rest of the usual specs we were aware of — Windows Mobile 6 Standard — unique dual sliding form-factor, and a $249.99 price point with 2 year agreement. The launch date for the Duo is supposed to be "late September", so you better hurry on down to your AT&T store when the time comes. We got’s a feeling these won’t stay stocked for long…Full product shot after the jump!
Thanks, Jay L!

Meeeowwww!
ATT continues to kill with the new phones. It looks like a good phone.
Well, now the Helio Ocean can forget about attracting the business user!!!!
Oh, did I forget to mention……Verizon is pissing me off. Always a day late & a dollar short!!!
Any size details on this phone? How thick is it?
Any idea if the GPS on this thing will be able to be used for Navigation program like Tomtom or Route66?
I believe there is no internal GPS so you must use an external Bluetooth GPS device…
Thickness kills!
You could do what I did, mosey over to a Helio kiosk at the mall, your local GameStop or wherever and manhandle the Ocean. It’s the same phone device.
If you like the feel, size, etc. then you know to head over to AT&T when it becomes available.
If not, you can pass and wait for something else.
Eh, I wouldn’t really say it is the same device…the keypad and QWERTY keyboard looks worlds different, and the Ocean’s size is 4.33″ x 2.20″ x .86″, and Duo is supposed to be 3.4 x 1.7 x 0.8 inches. Completely different device, same dual-slide concept…
Does WM6 Standard (aka Smartphone) allow external GPS? I know I can’t get it work with my 2125 (WM 5 Smartphone) and an external GPS due to it not being in the bluetooth stack.
Verizon is getting pants’d!
Well with 2 weeks left in this month there better be some made phone drops from AT&T….
Well with 2 weeks left in this month there better be some mad phone drops from AT&T….
No internal GPS?!?!?! Oh man that kills it for me. I saw it here stating there would be GPS for “location” based services (whatever that means???). I’ll definitely go for the Kaiser/Tytn II/Tilt/whatever they call it, I’m gonna get it or the newly announced Moto Q9 Global (internal GPS?????? — sweet!!!)
Boy Genius,
Can you run down the full specs or confirm the specs found on Wirefly? why leave us half way?

Boy Genius,
What happened with the specs that you reported
from Wirefly? which one is it 2MP or 1.3? GPS or no GPS? Give us the full specs please.
He already said no built in GPS, I would assume 1.3MP..
It looks like a definite possibility but the perforated metal and that Sony Vaio UMPC keyboard have to go.
Wut’s really funny is that not even google knows about this thing. Seriously go search it, web, images, videos, its not there.
Wow this is way cooler than my blackjack it looks easier to type on to. but still no windows mobile 6 for the blackjack yet come on att wtf! for all we know att droped the WM6 for the blackjack and just decided hey lets get this phone and release it just so people will pay more money etc etc.
OH and PS its a dual slider folks its probably going to be thick
I dont care how good it looks. Its made by Pantech. That killed the phone before it started. LOL
your price is wrong it’s 199.99 with a two year contract.
No touchscreen I assume? Seems like a nice phone for the price… What’s wrong with Pantechs? Never owned one. Too bad no wifi…
Pantech is at the bottom of the list right before kyocera. I have own owned 2 Pantech phones, one that was actually branded pantech. And one that is branded Nokia believe or not. For some reason Nokia decided to let let Pantech make some of there Lower end CDMA phones. If you have Verizon im sure you guys know what phone im talking about. ITs that Nokia that you can never find a charger for.
