iPod used to identify dead biker
It’s the world that we live in…we’re not only ruled by technology, but in some cases, we can even be identified by it. In Minneapolis, a cyclist that was killed by a bus was later identified by his iPod. Pretty smart thinking, actually. The coroner, struggling to identify this man who had no identification, thought to take his iPod to his local Apple store. Apple’s security team then helped them identify the body of Adam Ray Finley, a blogger for TV Squad. For the full story, make the jump…

What if he stole that ipod and maybe thats why he was killed?
Or did they think he borrowed it from a friend or what if he bought it used and never changed the name?
I really dont see this is being very reliable but I guess it is a start.
I’ll bet steve jobs uses this as a way to boost apple sales.
“The new IPOD…
able to reveal your identity in the event of your death…
but in a few months it will cost less…”
but… I could be wrong
