Hello 1 millionth iPhone

Apple has just announced by way of a press release from Cupertino, that the company has sold it’s one millionth iPhone effective this morning. Given all the hype and mania surrounding the handset, it’s important to remember that it has only been on the market for roughly 2 months (74 days, to be exact). Pushing a million units of anything, let alone something of this cost in such a competitive market, is a Herculean feat. In the press release, Steve Jobs notes that it took them almost two years to sell the same number of iPods. Given the recent price drop, we’re confident that the numbers will continue to rise in Apple’s favor, though it will be interesting to see if the new iPod Touch affects a change in sales rates. Whatever the case, and regardless of your feelings about Apple and the iPhone, a moment of acknowledgment is in order…..there, feel better?

    Yay? :-/

I’m not a big fan of the iPhone.
It simply didn’t work for me. I need a keyboard, plus several other features it lacked.
I’m “glad” it worked for all those other people, but honestly, there are going to be millions of people that simply won’t be “able” to use the phone.

yes. unless unlocked they are all on ATT and you must have a US address to activate. Their are some unlocked ones but very few. They have not begun selling outside the US yet.

You know, I was at the att store today and almost bought one and then the keyboard was the major non-selling point for me, anyone else have that problem?
(and the lack of video recorder)

Of course it takes some getting used to but it works
well once you you get used to it. I guess like
