Pantech C810 goes live on Amazon

Isn’t it strange that a phone would show up for sale on a third party site before being officially announced by the carrier itself? Then again, Amazon isn’t exactly known for its ability to keep a secret. Whatever the case, they are now offering the Pantech C810 dual slider for sale. Yeah, the one we uncovered twice. It is currently available for $179.99 with a two year contract, which isn’t half bad considering its feature set and still-innovative dual slider form factor. 3G is standard, running atop Windows Mobile 6. Despite the fact that AT&T has yet to officially acknowledge the handset’s existence, the ordering process appears to be legit. Although currently it’s not possible to add on a data plan for some reason, we don’t see why this couldn’t be tacked on later. Anyone trying to take the plunge?

Good thing it wasn’t the C810 otherwise we would all be overpaying.

Nevermind it seems BG has made a typo in their title, guys amazon calls it the C810 not the C180. Just thought you might wanna fix that one.

Because do you remember the last C810 post when all the people were like “which is it C180 or C810?” and I didn’t even mean to say that with the first post since I thought it was just the C180 and was $179.99 and if it was the C810 then the price could’ve been $809.99. But it’s the C180 for $179.99 which totally throws off my logic and I probably lost you after “…or C810?” right?

Seeing it doesn’t ship for 2-4 weeks I think that explains why it is up prior to official launch by AT&T.
