Palm Gandolf dropping on Sept. 12th
Palm just continues to surprise us, don’t they? It seems that the company will be releasing a new Windows Mobile handset in Europe on September. Contrary to popular belief, this will not be a European version of the already-announced Centro. It will, however, be a new Windows Mobile handset sporting the Gandolf name and should launch on Vodafone. Whether or not it will retain the Gandolf is a real name or codename is up in the air, but the handset will certainly be sporting Windows Mobile 6 standard, i.e. no touch screen. The rest of the specs aren’t clear either, but chances are good that it will be running atop the same platform that the Gandolf was rumored to sport, which included a 2.4" QVGA screen, 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth with A2DP, 3G/HSDPA, and 256 mb of onboard memory. Not too shabby. Let’s just hope that the keyboard is, well, usable. Any takers?

First!
I’ve lost faith in Palm. They let me down with the 700 series. Sorry, Palm.
Obviously the WinMo brother of the Centro. Still not impressed, though I moved away from Palm long ago and don’t plan to return.
It may have potential, but it better be stable and have all the bells and whistles it can handle. Palm has not impressed as of late, but I’m trying to be optimistic.
I still believe that Palm will pull it off. Don’t know exactly what the if is but I do believe.
The cento an gandolf look like htc’s exclibur .or commonly known as the tmobile dash.
All I know is I’ve never had faith in Palm and never will, plus this thing is really ugly.
You beat me too it lol

Rather, it appears to be a kind of interface or connective tissue among partly preexisting recursive systems, mapping among them in an evolutionarily novel manner. ,
