T-Mobile’s “String of BlackBerry Pearls” show up officially

Yeah, they’re a day late, but at least we got something showin’ up now. The colors as we exclusively told you before, for the BlackBerry Pearl refresh, are blue, red, and gold. We’d expect a release in the very near future now that they have popped up on T-Mobile’s website. Don’t get too excited though, as these are just color refreshes and do not contain updated hardware or features. We’ll be keeping an eye out for the mysterious Pearl 2…
Thanks, Jaron

Meha mor apealing to consumers an coworkers lol
Check on Sept. 12th for purchasing.
These will make good holiday gifts for those in desire of the form factor but who could care less about the most high end features.
Personally, I own a black one and I like it a lot.
I couldn’t find these images on T-Mobile’s website?! where’s the URL to T-Mobile?!
These are the internal photos which will show up publicly upon the release of the phones.
why the hell are they releasing theses?? Isn’t the Pearl 2 coming soon?
@ matt: I have a sinking feeling it’s because AT&T is going to get the exclusive on the Pearl 2 for a while and T-Mobile is just scrambling to save face. Screw AT&T. I just want a wi-fi Pearl with T-Mobile@Home. Is that so much to ask?
Matthew e you will be getting you 8320 soon enough should be out through t-mobile later this month. Not sure what the cost would be.
The new Pearl colors drop on Sept. 10th
T-Mobile has the exclusive pale gold color Blackberries….Pearl, Curve, and Pearl 2?
Looks like the Pearl2 is a Sprint phone.
There are several versions of the Pearl 2 from everything I’ve read. There are GSM and CDMA versions, WiFi and GPS. It’s just a question of which carriers will be releasing which models and when.
does anyone know why t-mobile continues to not have exclusives on new phones and does things like this the pearl a phone that will be outdated in a few months when the pearl 2 comes out, and is well into 2007 and still no 3G rollout in any of its markets??
T-Mobile doesn’t like exclusives because it means they’ve had little time with their phones in consumers’ hands. If you noticed on any other forums, all of AT&T’s exclusives manage to have a series of problems. Many people have returned their phones (i.e., have gone through 4+ versions of the Curve and even more of their iPhones). T-Mobile likes to let the other carries address the kinks, so when they release their version, there are little to no issues, thus keeping their customers the happiest, and their customer service free to attend to other issues.
Wasn’t the Pearl exclusive to T-Mobile for a while when it first came out? Or am I remembering incorrectly?
They are out for all of you to enjoy now. Still waiting on the Curve.
