LG’s VX8800 and LG VX10000 live shots!
Are you an LG fan with a chip on your shoulder? Brush it off, cause we’ve got some brand new LG shots to make your day. First up is the LG VX10000, which you might remember from a little while back. This device is set to replace the current LG enV as the Verizon messaging phone of the moment. The enV is a pretty slick device, but from these shots it’s clear that the VX10000 is trying to blow the enV out of the water. It looks like a sort of hybrid between the enV and the Prada phone. Not a bad pedigree if you ask us.We just have a major issue with Verizon’s UI. The screens are gorgeous, with both vertical and landscape displays. The keyboard also looks pretty good, with appropriate spacing between each key, and what appears to be ample space in between buttons. Next up is the VX8800, which is an update to the VX8550. Specs are unknown at this point, but one thing is clear: this is a clean looking handset. It sports a touchscreen interface in addition to the slide out number pad, giving it a leg up when compared to similar fashion-oriented sliders from companies like Nokia and Samsung. I dont see how people can talk shit about the vx10k if they have never used it or even seen it in person.
I’ve had it for over 2 weeks now and those pictures dont do it justice. The thing is absolutely beautiful. I cant wait for it to go public and hear about all the iPhone fanboys punching themselves in the face because they got raped by another hyped up Apple product.

$15 vCast will get you unlimited data for the web browsing on their new Nationwide calling plans, otherwise it is $1.99/MB. Not sure if you can use this phone on older calling plans where data used your minutes, though.
As far as iPhone v. Voyager, who cares? If you’re on AT&T, get the iPhone. If you’re on Verizon, then get the Voyager. If you don’t have a cell service, get the Voyager, because AT&T sucks.
And the phone is $299 with new activation. With an 8gb SD card it will be about as much as an iPhone, but will have the removable memory, replaceable battery, insurance, pic/video messaging, and the verizon network backing it all. Wait for your iPhone 2.0, I’m gonna get a Voyager.

Just so you know Verizon was originally gonna get the iphone but they turned apple down cause they know its a P.O.S. and so know the Iphone is on the slowest speed data network (edge) and no new ones are being bought (BY ANYONE). By the way also, LG is the high end of most classes of its electronics especially screens so you can count on the both of those phones having excellent screens.

i have to agree with BILLY BOB. Who cares about which phone is better. cause basically no phone is perfect. u have a phone with 2.0 meg pixel camera and sry ringtones. html webrowsing, touchscreen, the works, sry ringtones and garbage speaker phone. etc, etc, etc.
The iphone, in my opinion y anyone would pay $600 for a cellphone period, is nuts. out of ur mind. especailly for wat it has on there. basically all that technology in the phone is for wat. so wen ur board u can fasinate urself by how awsome ur phone is comeon now wat r u in 9th grade.plus CINGULLER/(aka)suck big donkey nuts, has got to b one of the worst services, ever. u bought an iphone for the phone or for the service. i admit the iphone is a jump in tech. but $500,$600 for a phone hell no. go buy a freakn PS3 bundle pac u freakn loser.
The 10K , looks nice, me and my wife have an env. it aint all that but hell its a cell phone u know. im in the navy, so wen i go to work, the majority of the day me and my wife txt eachother. so the env was perfect. We’ll upgrade wen the 10k is out just because of the txting.

because guess wat, its call “COMPETITION”. isnt that how it works. one phone comes out, then its a hit everyone buys it, then 6mths later another service comes out with a better one, and so on. Comon people. look at the big picture.

Got it the day it came out Love it! My mom loves it and she isn’t that good with comps and technology w.e and the phone is actually easy for her to use. My sister is prob getting it.
For the people on here that have the verizon service get this phone if ur old contract is up.
My sister has had every phone service and by far the best she says is verizon. You get service almost everywhere, and no other service can as of right now do that

Here’s the problem: outside of the high ($300) price for the 10000 (=Voyager), there’s the $45 PER MONTH fee to use the data services. Everyone I’ve talked to with ATT says service has been improving rapidly, and they have had few problems. And they pay $20 - omsread of $45 - per month for iPhone data services. And the iPhone syncs with Apple computers. And it has a slick interface for browsing. And for looking at photos. VZ is just re-wrapping an old enV to try to stop-gap the iPhone. But they still snub those of us who use Apple technology - and that group is getting bigger rapidly. The Apple retail outlets are packed all the time with former PC users and iPod fans.

I have the voyager and I know people who have the iphone and they are unhappy you drop the thing 1 time and it shows its true colors (CRAP) , they are now buying the Voyager. Apple approached vzw and were turned away before they went to att, and like crash said “no PDA plan required”
