Google’s GDrive Shows Up Again

Google’s long time rumored G-Drive, aka Platypus, has shown up on Google Apps today. Plugging in the address https://www.google.com/a/cpanel/example.com/DisableService?service=www10 and replacing example.com with the address of your own Google Apps domain. This will bring up the prompt to leave GDrive running or disable it. Google is expected to release some new features at the Office 2.0 Conference in San Francisco next week. Will we be seeing Google’s official competitor to services like Box.net and Microsoft’s Live Drive or will this be a full online backup service? Only time will tell.

Mike, I’m busting chops because I expect this site to be managed by intelligent people who can spell properly. I’m not asking a lot, and I’d appreciate it if you would get off me nuts. Thank you, and have a nice day.
