A reader sent in these shots of the Sidekick LX which is a whole ‘nother beast from the Sidekick Slide. With the amount of built up hype and recent leaks, we’d expect a release soon. Sadly, if the rumors pan out, it looks like Master P and Lil’ Romeo will be doing the endorsement honors. One more shot after the jump. Enjoy!

im super excited for it to come out, i got a sk3 last year and it was my first sidekick and i asoloutly love it. im glad tho this doesnt look like it has the cheap removeable parts (even tho it was fun painting them) and it better have a better camera. 1.3 fucking come on. it better have a 3.0, itd just make sense.

this sidekick is the same as every sidick it suks wat yall need to do is get a better camera nd videos on da sidekicks at least moto is good not like sharp suks but ill get the sklx any release dates?

im still using the sk2.. and idont have a problem, just keyboard is now starting to come off… its a 2nd phone for internet+ text does it job… however if both this and the zante come out im still debating…
i like the screen here
however the design is kinda wack and broken up
the zante has a more professional built look, motorola has way more experience with cells and thats the only reason i might go with zante…
sharp has a wack build…

ok listen up.
the sk3 currently retails at 399. This phone is naturally gonna retail for a higher price and why would anyone pick this new sk4 over the helio ocean? it would be way worth it to cancel tmob and go with helio. UNLESS,this phone has all the great features that arnt expected. this phone is the sk3 with a bigger and better screen thats it. i wouldnt suggest buying this phone.

I personaly think it would be a major waste of money to buy the sidekick 4 ( sidekick lx ) like rob said the side kick 3 is currently retailing for 399 so that would mean that the sidekick4 would be about 500 or 600…… spending that large amount of money for a phone that has a sucky camera and no video ,would be like throwing your money out the window.. I think buying the iphone or at least the Helio would be the smartest thing to do…. but then again the sidekick4 may have better features than the iphone or helio……… we’ll just have to wait and see ……….

There is no, NO way that the LX would be 5 or 6 hundred dollars. Thats just a little bit ridiculus to even think that.
If your logic is that the SK 3 is $399 so the new one is going to be more you must never of been burnt on new tech before. The 3 is probably going to drop $50 or $100 to open up the $399 price point for the LX or slide. Then all of the people that bought the 3 in the last month will complain about it and in this case they won’t be getting some kind of t-mobile/danger gift card for the difference.

I would have to agree with the people below… I mean be realistic now… Helio just came out with a phone that has 3.0 mega pixels.. and though the phone is sweet.. We are talking about the damn Sidekick…
The phone that change the phone game.. SK4 lacks the stuff. Alarms.. Espeically with the iPhone release..
Motorola needs to step back on the creation of this one. Were talking about the same company that brought the “first” slim phone… but the damn thing was crap…Plus with the looks of it ur taking out the swivel. Though it might get old to some people, thats what makes the SK the Sk. So in corporating a “slide” is a very wack idea. Keep the same MD card… that should start becoming a standard in every phone. Now everybody understands that we can’t have a touch screen like the iphone but inter grade some good stuff. Mos Definitely a internet so fast i wont be able to to get a half of a blink in before its on my Sidekick. Pretty much myspace is the thing and i know that i have a music account so go ahead and add that stuff to make it play while cruising on the net.
Very good idea to had that big screen on it.. Looks good.. The SK3 has some good space on the QWERTY keyboard. But make the screen(when fliped out) to actually phone ratio a lil thinner is the buttons are to hard to text. On

i loveee how the new phone look’s it’s amazing the screen is huge . it would be great if there were more features offered with the sk LX, i currently have the sk 3 D-WADE . i payed an extra 100$ only because it was white and beige . hopefully they come out with different colors.

I have had every sidekick and when I found out the new one was coming out I was ready to buy it. Of course it lacks most qualities, but the keyboard is amazing the best…i would say. Also it is true that the IM is way faster and what not. I was IM-ing someone right next to me and they would get it all late…the phone they had was the blackjack.

Yo… the sidekick LX or 4 or wuteva u wana call it drops on Oct.24.07… they were handing out cards around the tmobile stores in the shape of a flipped open sidekick… so u shouldn’t have to wait dat long… and it does have myspace mobile… but they won’t talk about the features of the phone datz y I’m “if-e” about this new sk… anyway I hope diz helped

I have never had a sidekick but I am pretty excited for this LX. I just want a sidekick with a nice screen and good internet, and I don’t want it to cost me a fortune. I would be interested in helio, but that thing looks really thick, and I really like the lines on the LX. I also like the keyboard on the sidekick better. If nothing else, I can’t wait till its released so I can see what the sidekick III drops down to in price… I don’t really care too much about camera or music on my phone because i have a nano and a great camera. Realistically no phone on a stinkin camera is going to live up to my digital camera so I don’t really care. Either way this phone looks sweet!

T-mobile by the end of this year will have 3G or the beginning of Next Year. Neither will the Sidekick Slide nor the Sidekick LX be 3G but, I suppose the two would be fast then the older models because that has been the trend in the past.

Well.. I do know this.. The sk4 will have MMS.. Myspace app.. Bigger screen 3″.. Better rez.. Still tha 1.3 pix cam.. A MICRO mini SD card slot.. Longer batt life.. It is like 0.3 inches thinner.. Its all blk.. It has blue tooth.. No wi-fi.. No G3.. N i think it has video record and play back if im not mistakin. i heard its gonna cum out in oct n i heard that t-mo is goin 2 hav a release party oct 16th wit d.j. Am. So.. I guessin it will cum out that day unless its 4 the piece of crap slide.. (Moto should jus giv it up.. All there phones r crap.. How can u call it a sk if the screen slides? N sharp still cums out better).. N if that tha case.. Then the sk4 will cum out n dec b4 christmas or tha beginin of nex yr. N im gettin it 4 me n my girl!
Btw.. The myspace app 4 the sk3 n ID is already out.. But most sk3 n ID users wont get it til the end of oct. It will b n ur download cat.
