I just pick up my 8320 LOVE IT! The only thing that I would add is for it to have GPS built in. And you dont have to get gold either……you have a choice between gold and titanium. I set up the hotspot at home and LOVE IT too! The WIFI is mac daddy.

I am a T-mobile CSR rep and we will have a choice at launch on Monday sept 24th of Titanium and a “pale” gold for the curve. Hope that helps in your concerns on the color

One of your original posts on the 8320 said it came with a 2.5mm jack and not the standard 3.5mm one available on the 8300. Is this still the case? Because that would really be a shame considering its multimedia features. Thanks!

Why is it that the only Blackberry which has received WiFi certification from the WiFi Alliance is the Blackberry 8820? There is no mention of the 8320 receiving such a certification. You can check it here:

release date is Sept. 24th and they will offer two colors. The pale gold and titanium colors. My first pictures well they sucked and I hope Boy will take the new ones from Blackberry Forums and replace them. Thanks

I just hope the price is significantly better than the newly published iphone prices $399 (8GB) and $299 (4GB), considering the data plan for the iphone is relatively cheaper than what tmobile will be asking for.

Another confirmation from T-Mobile themselves:

The BlackBerry Curve is in fact dropping on the hard date of September 24th. As per the color, I was told the only model they have now is a “dark gray pear,” but that like the popularity of the Pearl in multiple colors, the Curve may very well see different variations (i.e., the gold we see here). No pricing has been disclosed yet, but look for it in the range of the 8700 and 8800 models.

Also, the Pearl Colors are dropping next Wednesday.

yup these were posted someone else amazing that BGR logo is placed on this site when the pics weren’t even posted by boygenius on the forums. They just put up a box of the retail of curve for tmobile but it got taken off since next thing you know they get put up on here with the BGR logo on it.

Nice of Boy to “borrow” my photos. I posted this on Blackberry forms and you slap your logo on it. NICE>>>>>> at least give credit where you get the pics! The pictures were taken with a vary bad 8100. I will post clearer pictures but not at this site. I use to be a fan of this site until they “borrowed” my pictures……..very disappointing

It actually isnt gold, not sure if its a bad picture or what.

But all retail T-Mo stores recieved a packet with info about the Curve, EVERY picture of it (and there are tons) show it as silver. Also on T-Mobile’s application Streamline, it also shows the Curve as silver.

I hear ya TiaBia! I was using an 8800 with att than I cancelled and went with T-mo because there cheaper and better customer service. When I went to T-mo I switched back to my old sidekick 2! I have been waiting since may to get my hands on the curve, much less back to a blackberry (crackberry addicted!) So through with the sidekick.

Isn’t titanium a kind of matte goldish color? I think that IS the titanium. It just looks more gold than it really is due to lighting and poor focus.

All because they thought it was tacky, but the head honchos saw this device for what it is, A GREAT DEVICE FROM T-MOBILE!

If you are planning on buying the 8320 and will want the T-Mobile@Home, better get it before September 4 is over. Until the 4th the promo cost is $9.99/month. After that it is $19.99. If you order it now, like I did, and then decide you don’t want it, you can cancel.

Personally, I would prefer flat non-glossy black. But who cares what the color is! If you are really into the applications then hopefully your personality strength will carry you. If not buy some spray paint.

I seriously hope that T-mo offers a silver alternative….I mean seriously, how professional, even semi-professional will you look with a gold phone? Yes I understand that the curve is supposed to appeal to the more media friendly consumer, but still it’s a blackberry (known for their professional pdas.) It would be different if the gold went with the keyboards color scheme, but judging from the pictures, it looks off and not pairable. I guess time will be the tell all huh? Come on T-mo!
