Lee, that’s good to hear. I think my wife wants this phone. She liked the mahagony color better, but I think they made battery improvements on the black one. I will probably get it for her soon.

Just got the V9x from AT&T. Black is so nice to have again. Just wait till you get one of these and use the GPS… Arse-kick’n phone! I mod all my phones and in a few months I’ll have this one hacked just right.

Well, I recently got the V9, upgraded from the blue KRZR K1. Big difference in size, which is a good change, I can actually press each individual key. Love it. My only problem is the battery life. Absolutely terrible, wondering if it is just my phone? I’ll charge the phone overnight, and maybe speak on the phone for a total of 15 minutes tops during the day, quick calls. If I don’t charge it overnight again, it’s beeping low battery by morning. Is my phone defective or is this the case with everyone? Most of the time, I wouldn’t have to charge my KRZR for 2 or even 3 days!

Got the V9…and can’t believe I am actually back full-circle to a Razr after two years of being a die-hard smartphone user. But, I really like this phone…and like it better than the V8 I had briefly beforehand.

The “feel” of the stainless steel and glass construction is amazing, and it has a great weight to it…very balanced in the hand. The Mahogony color is 110% more “Masculine” in person, and not nearly as “Girly” as it looks under the AT&T store flourescent lights. I think it looks hot!!

Performance, call quality, reception and signal-capture is top notch…and the Synergy OS is faster than ever before. Really the best performing mobile phones I have owned…period.

I’ve got both the V3xx and the V9 and I love them both. As far as what they guy above was saying about the sound, I think perhaps you might have gotten a bad one, cuz my V9 kicks but with rich sound. My only problem with the V9 is trying to figure out how to keep my wife’s hands off of it…LOL!

In the world only has 2 mobile phone (not PDA Phone / Smartphone) with the fastest processor 500 Mhz; that’s Motorola Razr 2 V8 and Motorola Razr 2 V9. This phone is really solid then other. The hinge already test in 100 labs and the result is doesn’t has problem with the hinge.

@BG – I dont know BG but I have been a longtime Motorola fan. I’ve had RAZR’s, PEBL’s and SLVR’s and always loved their products. I was quite disappointed with the RAZR2 however and had purchased it based on your glowing reviews. Once I have a bad experience with a product I tend to shy away from that model. That’s why I’m glad my iPhone was one without any screen or camera issues as if i did get a lemon I would hace prolly shyed away from the iphone too. I guess ill just stick with the iphone as i really dont see a replacement of it by any phone anytime soon.

well I bought this phone today and while she is a very sexy looking phone the sound was muffled and horrible. Also I must have missed the FULL HTML browser because it seemed like wap with pictures to me. Original RAZR had much more quality sound. Also other caller said I sounded terrible and they were on a landline. Save that $300 folks…

Truthfully its needs a more complex OS cause the JUIX needs to be killed and I couldn’t tell the interior screen from the front in the first two pictures but the color is nice and it looks like a nice phone and it’s amazing that I’m saying that about a Moto.

@nomore – what are all the new features it has, aside from the bigger external screen and touch keys? Its not as big an upgrade as a thinner body with a newer OS, heck its thicker than the original Razr V3.

Looks sleek and nice — and the OS looks exactly like that of the V3xx. That’s not horrible because the V3xx has the best version of Synergy to date — so it won’t be horrible on this phone.

Plus, there are lots of SEEM edits for the V3xx already which’ll probably work fine on this.

* Enable internal email client
* Enable manual network selection / band selection
* Re-structure menus, etc
* Remap keys
* Remove constant nag for JAVA apps like Google Maps, Opera Mini, etc.

If you like Motorolas, then there is no reason to not get this phone, personally. As a phone phone, it is one of my favorites. Though if you don’t require 3G, 100% get the V8, you’ll love it.

This phone has the same dimensions as a V3xx, weighs the same, has the same screen and the same OS.

The V9m also runs Synergy, but the Sprint version borrows a few icons from the V8’s UI. It sucks that out of all the versions, only the V8 runs LJ.

I kinda like the color too, but I am a “boy”

Not really to spend $300 on this phone though, I will stick with my TREO 750, though this would be a nice back up or something to carry when I want to carry something smaller.
