Google makes simple apps that are useful. Apple makes slick apps that are….well…pretty.

I’m sure Google’s phone will appeal to me more than Apple’s.

I wonder though…if they are indeed fashioning an OS, are third-party developers invited? Will you have to depend on the G-dev team for everything?

this will be a knockout i cant wait to welcome google as a new and fresh OS in the mobile world.

Here are some predictions of mine:

* The phone won’t be locked if they chose a GSM version
o That will be totally against Google’s Open policy
* You can bet that it would be supported by advertisements
* Google will have a mobile pack for software developers
* The carrier in US would be Sprint, given their recent partnerships with Google
o HTC also has very good relations with Sprint

I want to see concept designs from the designers, that will prove how real or not it will be. Also if HTC is working with google you can bet it will be something sweet. Now if this ends up being another BS story, we can just move on and call it a day.

I love how everyone gets excited because it’s Google. What is Google? It’s a brand. Suckers will buy this phone because of the brand equity in the Google name.

You know HTC won’t have a say in anything outside of design and core functionality installation. Too bad too, cuz HTC knows what they are doing.

This will flop.

I really hope this is VZ “answer” to iPhone. Lol.

This is the phone I’m wanting, so long as the design is nice and the OS works. I speculate that Google will deliver the opposite of what the iPhone is. I am so gosh-danged sick of the iPhone that I could tear off my own iEars to not listen to it any iLonger.

The Google phone will:
-Be nice looking (I personally love HTC products)
-Be packed with features
-Be relatively inexpensive (I hope)
-Give other manufacturers a reason to re-evaluate their game.

Look at this thing, if BG or Josh or God came down and launched this “phone” it would still look ridiculous. And I am talking about the picture above. Not a REAL Google phone. I mean come on people. Not for nothing we all know NSA pwns AT&T but Google does a good deal of data mining too. I think im going to get myself a StarTAC Motorola and call it a day
