Wake-Up Angel…scaring the crap out of sleep

Our Asian brethren get all the cool toys. Introducing the "Wake-Up Angel," a device designed to keep you from nodding off. It’s a piece you wear behind your ear, that you set to a certain angle. When your head drops below that angle, the Angel freaks you out vibrates to keep you alert. Obvious uses would be for drivers and students, which seems to us to be enough to warrant making its way to the States. We just hope it will be offered in other colors besides pink.

Matt is correct. The Sharper Image, etc. have had a similar product for years. Don’t know if they still carry it, but I can remember seeing this 10-12 years ago.

If you feel you need this product, you might want to think about seeing a doctor, maybe it’s your lifestyle not allowing for enough sleep, diet, or some other medical reasoning.. but a device to tell you to stay awake, c’mon this is being ignorant.. get help, this is just a cover up on a larger problem.

There has been many times I got tunnel vision sitting at my desk working and my head and eyes got heavy. I don’t think they are saying use this product if you are a deep sleeper. But if you were at a seminar or meeting this thing would be great.

Knowing the FCC they’ll probably make it so it delivers a small electric shock of 120 volts when you tilt your head to see your…Tilt(Kaiser)…7 days to drop…

I have seen a similar product on a TV show called ‘Kenny vs. Spenny’ (Canadian). Although, it made a high pitched buzz/noise. Much more annoying, and it seemed to be effective. Worked when his head tilted left or right, and downward. Challenge was: Who can stay awake the longest :)
