Sprint BlackBerry Pearl 2 to launch Thanksgiving Day weekend?

That’s what we’ve been told! You remember the Sprint BlackBerry Pearl 2, right? It should have integrated GPS, but apparently WiFi won’t make its way into the mix. Since the date we were given was more like a timeframe, please consider it such. Anyways, you just might be able to pick one up before you have to go see those people you see once a year. You know, the ones called family? If this helps lighten your day, I guess we can reveal it…In addition to the news on Sprint’s BlackBerry Pearl 2, we got word that the CDMA Curve is planned for release early in Q1 of ‘08. Possibly on Sprint.

more like pearl 1.5

Yeah. I want a Verizon Pearl with VZ Navigator. I’m sure they’ll get it too. That would rock.

Not to mention the Pearl 2 on sprint and vzw is going to be the first blackberry to allow “streaming media” (still trying to get confirmation on exactly what that means, although I heard (directly from a RIM employee) that it will work with Sprint tv.
And not to mention that allegedly the pearl2 is going to be the first device to launch with the 4.3 operating system, which is going to have the updated browser (better compression and tabbed browsing anyone?)

It figures-
Blackberry FINALLY releases a cdma device that does not have the aesthetic of a cinder block…
and freakin SPRINT gets it first….
VZW hates us…they really really hate us…
Their customer base that is…
I would hold out for a curve (but can you hold out hope VZW will EVER release phones before they become last years news?) but I would take the pearl if available…

So the Pearl for Sprint will not be an international roaming device as previously rumored?
