    Palm is falling behind.
    Although I don’t believe having a hardware overhaul is the correct way to go, I do believe that the Treo design needs to be updated, or there needs to be a new device that takes some of the excellent features from the Treo, as well as brings on it own unique features.

    In my opinion, the Palm OS needs to be completely rewritten. The interface is ancient, and the OS design isn’t up-to-date.

    I don’t think allowing users to do whatever they want with their device is a good idea (for example, letting them recreate the Palm OS interface). Nonetheless, Palm does need some new design standards, and needs to become more “open” to outside users and developers.

    Honestly, I feel Palm should have stepped aside quite a while ago.
    They have a chance to create more great products if they begin to focus their attention. Nonetheless if they miss this opportunity, then I doubt we’ll Palm much long. :-/

Plm shoul just mer with or sell themelves to RIM,HTC or Nokia.
