Sony launches E-Waste program
Dubbed the Sony Take Back Recycling Program, the electronics giant has teamed up with 75 Waste Management Recycle America eCycling drop-off centers throughout the States. It hopes to double that within the program’s first year. In the long run, Sony’s focus is convenience, hoping that if 95% of the population is within 20 miles of a center, and everyone has the option to ship their used electronic goodies to a center, that the number of people that participate will be quite significant. Couch potatoes rejoice! No word yet on when or where the these places will pop up and the program will start, though.

Yay 1st comment!!!!
Although nobody is going to care but this will help Sony pay for those lawsuits if they have a small fee involved…
screw a fee… Do you know how much money will be brought in the doors?? think about this. it takes about 12 CPU’s to make one pound. In every pound of CPU’s there is an average of 1 troy ounce of gold. How many cpu’s do you think they will get?? This isn’t even counting all the copper, aluminum, silver, and any other Highend metals they will get from it. as of this post, gold is at $657 per troy ounce. up over 4 dollars today
Ok fine but knowing Sony they will charge a fee so who really gives a shit. Just bring it to a damn recycling center. Jesus.
wow, somebody needs a hug… are we mad at something??
No just your first comment sounded like you were being an ass.
