Verizon’s Motorola Q9m official spec sheet, drops August 22nd

You want it, we got it. Following the lead of the recent spate of Verizon releases, we’ve got a bit more in depth information on one of the carrier’s most hotly anticipated fall drops. The Motorola Q9m is the successor to the "mighty" Q, and looks to be an improvement in just about every way. Verizon seems to really be pushing this as a V-Cast/music centric device (hence the "m" in the model number). What will it all cost, you ask? $349.99 on a two year contract, $399.99 on a 1 year contract, and $469.99 outright. These numbers are before a $50 mail in rebate, so you can have a new Q9m in your hands for around $300. Not too bad. The box will include the handset, a 128 MB miniSD card preloaded with a phone tutorial and some exclusive Fergie content, a wall charger, phone sleeve, data cable, manual, and more. Expect this to drop on August 22nd through the carrier’s business and web channels, with full retail availability coming a week later on the 29th. Check out more shots after the jump.

Thanks, Omie, our Verizon ninja!

This is a joke, almost identical to my current Q + a few tweeks that are easy to implement.

WM6 since the phones are so similar (old Q Q9m)we will probably be able to port the new WM6 onto it.

this may be the last year of my contract with Verizon.

Ok, I looked at the verizon “testman” site & compared the original Q with the Q9.

The specs for the VZ Q9 don’t say anything about WM6… anyone know why? The OS upgrade is one of the main reasons I’m considering the phone.

Geeeesh, Like many waited for what? I bought the iPhone to see if I would like moreover my Q. Yes and no. ATT is much slower than Verizon. But my Q has many bugs. I think I’m switching to the 8830. Verizon like Sprint…..boring phones in comparison to ATT. Why not the curve for Verizon.
