BlackBerry Pearl on Verizon? No problem

Yes everyone, circle November on your calender with a Sharpie, ‘cuz that’s the date you shall be set free. Verizon’s expected to launch their BlackBerry Pearl 8130 in November and it looks like the Pearl 2 to us…It let’s you rock out at EvDO speeds, has a 2 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headset jack, and supports Stereo Bluetooth. Not too many more specs are known at this point, but I’m sure a lot of people just got really excited. One more shot after the jump!

Congrats Verizon customers, you lucky bastards. Is the pearl 2 coming to sprint as well, because my friend works in a sprint store new york and she told me that the pearl is showing up in her system, but with no info on it, so those this mean its coming in sept.?

And I JUST got excited that T-Mo (my carrier) was releasing the Curve. Honestly, I’d rather have the SureType keyboard (don’t hit me!), but I guess having a full QWERTY and a wider screen will have to tide me over.

Wow, you guys are bitter. Did you get beat up by RIM and Verizon Execs when you were little?
VZW customers understand that the phone is not a major upgrade to the current pearl but since we have no qwerty phone other than 7130e a pearl 1,2 or 3 is an upgrade nonetheless.
I realize VZW is very very slow in updating their lineup, but its the path I have chosen so I will be happy for whatever upgrade I can get.

Seriously, I want the Curve as well my 8703 is getting to be a bit long in the tooth, but getting the pearl on board is a start, so let us VZW faithful be happy for 10 minutes…

I don’t care what all the haters say… I saw this and it made my whole day. I got my notice from verizon that I was eligible for a new phone yesterday. I have a KRZR and a TREO for work. I went LAST NIGHT to the vzw store but didn’t find anything I liked. Now I just have to wait until november…aaauuugh!!!
