Motorola and China Mobile sign lucrative deal

Score one for China Mobile and Motorola. The two companies have signed a contract worth $394 million for Motorola. The money is part of China Mobile’s ongoing push to establish a more comprehensive and powerful GSM network in China. The actual wording of the press release is pretty vague, but it seems that Motorola is focusing on providing "value-added" services to China Mobile’s network, expanding network coverage, "maximizing investment and delivering the best services." If Motorola can find somewhere other than the US to dump its excess inventory of soon-to-be-obsolete RAZRs and Qs, we wouldn’t be the least bit upset…Bring on the Motorola RAZR 2!
