T-Mobile launching BlackBerry Curve (8320) on September 24th

Well, isn’t this a glorious day. You begged, you pleaded with the T-Mobile gods, and now we finally have something concrete. It seems as if September 24th is the rumored launch date set in stone for one of the most anticipated BlackBerry devices to date — the BlackBerry Curve with WiFi + UMA (8320). We’ve got a string of other handsets we’re sifting through at moment from our oh-so-fabulous informants, but in the meantime, I guess we can all just "marinate" on this BlackBerry Curve launch date. Yeah, it’s golden. Hey T-Mobz, care to send us an embargoed unit? Thank ya’s
Thanks, tmophonehome!

Great news for TMO fans! Now dig out the same for when the Pearl 2 is going to drop on VZ.
Oh and … first. Wow. I feel kind of like a tool now.

Yes, the T-Mobile 8320 is a Hotspot@Home phone.

Well I would totally go to tmo for this if their service wasn’t as bad as Sprint’s.

Thank. Gawd. BGR, you rock as always

at least tmobile has better customer service then sprint!
they somehow need to cram GPS on the 8320 to make it the perfect berry

TMo with WiFi is great (as I look for free hotspots)…no wait my Sprint BB with EVDO that works everywhere is even better….

So, with this device having UMA it means that it is compatible with the Hot Spot at Home service?

Wait does this kill the chance for the 8820? I hope not…
Tmo gods can you get me the BB 8820, I cant take Camera’s to client sites!

I got to use the Curve with UMA running back in May - no special wifi router was needed. It works phenomenally and the battery life was unbelievable with the EDGE, WiFi and Bluetooth radios running. This will be a big one. The lack of GPS is the only drawback.
T-Mobile isn’t going to carry the 8820 - they’re skipping it (for now).

@ADK…
Are we sure that gold is the color? I think it’s just discoloration of the graphic. I find it hard to believe that RIM and T-Mobile would release such a love it or hate it BB.

i have an 8800 now, since they have been “phasing out” the 8800s would insurance cover the cost of the new curve if i “lose” my 8800?

I really hope it only “looks” gold in the picture. I really like the titanium colored one, that is sharp!
But BGR mentions the color in the description, second to last line.
“Yeah its golden”. I am hoping its not true.
