Motorola RAZR V9m launching on Sprint
What a day for RAZR fans. First Verizon announces a September drop date for the upcoming RAZR V9m, and now Sprint chimes in with a release date of their own. Announced this afternoon, the V9m, a.k.a. Moto RAZR 2 will be available to Sprint customers beginning August 22nd, and in retail stores beginning September 4th. For anyone keeping score, the online date is at least 9 days before Verizon’s vague "September" date. Go Sprint! The phone will be available online and via customer care for $249 without rebates. No additional incentives have been announced. The EV-DO-capable handset features Sprint TV, Sprint NFL Mobile, and a variety of other Sprint-specific data services. We’d wager to say that this will be Sprint’s most desirable non-smartphone, so if you’re in the market for a new CDMA handset, you might want to give this one a whirl.

Sprint seems to be getting some love on here, seems justified.
Come on AT&T get the lead out and release the V9m and Q9
True love will come with a BB Curve annoucement.
AT&T has also annouced to carry the RAZR2, they are as well expecting to make it public early September.
I hope at&t is better than cingular at launching phones. sept turns to oct, then nov, etc etc. v3i, krzr, n75, the list goes on… Dont let us down at&t sept is allready a month behind the first v9 launch date. and please launch another color besides maroon..

Hey do any of you know if and when the V9m will launch on Alltel and does anybody have a price?
i just bought one tonight from sprint online store and my phone is arriving in 2 days very excited about yay………..
i have had my phone since august 31st. when i got it the salesman told me it was so new they hadnt received any reviews. i am really enjoying it. the touch screen is awesome, the music sounds wonderful. im still learning all of the features. i think this is the best phone sprint has put out. and i paid $324 for mine. the total was 399 but i got $75 off. so far though its worth it.
