HTC Kaiser = AT&T Tilt?
CrunchGear seems to think so, and we’re inclined to agree. It’s a natural nickname, given the HTC Kaiser’s trademark tilt-up keyboard configuration. There’s still no word on exactly when we might be able to expect this baby to drop on the former Cingular, but given the recent FCC filing, coupled with the ramp up in buzz level, we’d wager to guess that this thing will be showing up sooner than later. The phone will replace AT&T’s current 8525/TyTN offering, and will most likely show up on store shelves by the end of August/beginning of September. Tilt, Curve, Blade, Slide, Stripe….we’re all for simple branding, guys, but this is getting a little bit absurd.

Here is a reply on release date request from my business account manager:
“The tilt is expected to launch this Friday….
I will follow up as soon as I receive the new pricing grids reflecting the addition – ”
That makes the release date for Premier customers Friday, Oct 5th. As of today, it does not appear in Premier.

Okay guys, this is what I think why is at&t delaying the whole thing. and don’t take this serious, I have already bought an unlock HTC tytn II, anyways, I think at&t had to delay it and only may be because at&t found out that it be better for them to have it with the front camara, there is website and which is taking pre order and they say it will be in stock as of october 8, but what I read there is also that they will have it with the front camara and brand at&t tilt, they are also selling the HTC tytn II with the front camara, but the price is a bit high. I have to call the up and see whats up…I will update later.

So I’m extpecting to buy a Tilt. I think the name Tilt is a great name for the phone. After all, the phone does tilt. It’s also a catchy name that sounds pretty good when you say… “I have a Tilt phone.” or something like that. I also believe that a name like Tilt will definitly get people to but it since people are less likely to buy a phone called Kaiser or HTC.
