Google News testing new response method
Imagine…You’re the subject of a news article that winds up on Google News. When you go to read said article, you find you’ve been misquoted. Or, perhaps, they left out some major facet that changes the entire dimension of the article. A new feature being developed by Google is aiming to allow users to fix these errors. While it doesn’t have a specific name yet, its purpose is clear: anyone mentioned in a Google News article will have the ability to respond back to Google with their take on the information reported. Once the response is submitted, Google workers determine the legitimacy of the response, and then will post it/attach it to the article. "Whether they’re penguin researchers or presidential candidates – a personal view can sometimes add a whole new dimension to the story," Google software engineers Dan Meredith and Andy Golding said in the blog posting. Google wouldn’t comment as to how many people were working on this feature, but we’re guessing it’s just the 3 people not working on the Google Phone.
sounds like this will make google news more of a news company rather than a bunch of links.
On the upside of that thought, News Corp could but Google News and make the Google News Channel. That wouldn’t be so bad, would it?

Perhaps this is leading to a google news channel where the programming is dictated by the news/points of interst that are getting the most hits…. Well in a perfect world anyways.
