Motorola RAZR 2 V8 Unboxing
Yeah, we definitely brought you the Hands On! scoopage before but, it’s always nice to unbox a retail model. Build quality has improved tremendously, and the coloring of the back portion of the phone is a little darker and in our opinion looks a little sharper. The JUIX OS is speedy like always (we love the system sounds and clicks) and EDGE browsing full HTML sites provides just enough satisfaction. Well, at least compared to other Motos. We wouldn’t dare compare it to the you-know-what, though. Finally, the packaging — it is so over the top that we couldn’t not comment on it. Remember the Motorola V3i boxes where you slide out one side and the other side slides out too? This has sort of the same effect once you open the main box you’ll find a smaller box inside. That smaller box slides open and "flips up" so to speak, the Motorola RAZR 2 phone. Kinda’ nifty. Check out the pics in our gallery!

Cool looking phones..I have always liked Moto’s…my last 2 phones has been moto’s…
it looks like they are learning something from Apple with the box?
That is PHAT! You know it cant compare to the You know what but I mean its pretty good for a dumb phone…

Only a correction: it’s not JUIX OS, it’s MOTOMAGX , at least it’s what Motorola says
Where do the heck do they take these pictures?? I was in CTI NYC’s office / showroom last week, which is the size of a closet and it is so crowded with phones…..it is like a wet dream.
Maybe one day Motorola will make decent phones…
Maybe the box engineers can design a nice moto phone…
So it has nice packaging for a phone that goes for about $500? Hmm, which other phone has nice packaging and also goes for $500…
now it’ll be nice when it comes out in the US and the price drops to 350.
See I had a V3i and it’s box wasn’t anything near as cool as that. Plus all the Moto’s i have had busted 5+ times resulting in another of the same phone 5+ times until cingular replaced it with a different (and better) Samsung Blackjack but Verizon didn’t do a damn thing near that they’re too cheap. Actually, my V505 worked, the only one to work for the entire contract but that was an AT&T phone so go figure. Not the “new” at&t(cingular), the real good ‘ol blue AT&T.
Can’t wait for the AT&T V9.
The V9 is due out in two weeks isn’t it?
For all the people who think this phone costs as much as the other phone:
The Moto phone is $250~300usd with contract, $499.00 without.
The other phone is $500~600usd with contract, $800~1299.00 without.
