Verizon’s fall lineup?
Whoa. Either we’ve just hit the Verizon motherload, or someone has orchestrated an elaborate hoax. We sincerely hope that it’s the former. A Verizon employee has apparently leaked the company’s upcoming product launch road map, and the document contains details aplenty about a number of upcoming Verizon handsets and launch dates. Check out the rundown below:
- 8/20 Moto Q9m
- 8/15 VZW XV6800
- 8/16 Verizon "8905"
- 9/2 Green enV
- 9/4 Verizon "Coupe"
Keen eyes will have noticed the two mystery handsets, the 8905 and the "Coupe". A big round of applause to anyone who can clue us in on what exactly these things are. Confusion aside, it looks the the big V is finally gearing up to reinforce their anemic PPC and Smartphone offerings, with the Q9 and XV6800, a.k.a. HTC Mogul bringing some much needed relief. Check the jump for the full rundown
Thanks, Brad!

What ever happened to verizon’s “answer to the iphone” that they claimed the day after the iphone came out…?

what a depressing lineup. i was kinda expecting a bb curve. and my NE2 is up soon and i might as well just get the old Q seeing as how the new Q9m is pretty much a repackaged Q with WM6 =/

VZW is releasing the Pearl this September is what was said when I called the Executive offices in Atlanta to find out about the GPS for the 8830. I asked the girl about the curve and she said let me check , and said nope nothing on the sheet for this year. As for GPS and the 8830 there only enabling it for VZNavigator. I am sure many already know this but when ever a new phone/pda comes out VZW takes 6 months after to release there crippled piece of Sh__ interface and even than they cant work all the bugs out.
As far as coverage, AT&T, and Verizon in my area and where I travel are equal, there is NO difference, and the data speeds there is NO noticeable difference at all. None Nada Zip, they are two different technologies and each one is going to have its great points and its bad points. For me its the customer service, billing, and repairs

…………….unless they get the iPhone anyway.

ATT Executive offices are in ATL not Verizon — Verizon Executive offices are in NJ.

Looks like Verizon came out today and said the the RAZR2 comes out NEXT month…which makes this spreadsheet wrong and totally unreliable for the rest of the information…

Any info on the 8905 or coupe? Although the razr 2 looks tempting, the UI lag will most likely be twice as bad as the previous versions. Im looking to upgrade soon, and was planning on the vx8900. Thanks for the mystery phones verizon!

Is the Pearl a great phone or what? I luv the way it looks and its size, as of right now I have the Mint Blue Chocolate, a big improvement from the first one, but am thinking about the new motorola slider or the pearl from Blackberry. I am a verizon customer.
