Motorola RAZR 2 dropping on Sprint next month?

That’s right. Well, if you take the word of an "anonymous" tipster, that is. If it all pans out the Motorola RAZR2 V9m should be lauching on Sprint sometime next month. Some of the supported services will be Sprint TV, Sprint’s Music Store, Wireless Backup, and other Sprint-only features like the NFL Mobile Application. Specs are just what you’ve heard like a 2 megapixel camera, MicroSD slot (up to 2GB), and the ability to tether the device to get on the internet. One thing we immediately noticed was its "up to 3 hours of talk time". That’s pretty low, guys. Like, yeah.

Yea it kicks them really good considering my iPhone gets better battery life then that. Wow 3 hours is horrible for a regular phone. Maybe cause it has 3G?

CDMA/EVDO phones get horrible battery life typically. Especially when they have two big screens sucking up the juice.

Randy are you mad that you can’t be th e”1st comment”??? ;-)

The motorola line has become a very annoying line where every phone is like the last. Not the best. Anyway good for sprint though.

Nice, wasn’t expecting the CDMA version of these so soon…especially on Sprint. But I really wish they could have gotten the RAZR2v8 with the Linux/Java OS.

I emailed Sprint last week asking them when the RAZR2 was coming out and said I was thinking about switching to AT&T (not really) because of the phones. They said it was coming out August !9th.
