Vodafone also launching BlackBerry Pearl 2 in September?

Our Spanish friends are reporting that Vodafone should be launching the BlackBerry 2 Pearl refresh in September. This makes sense seeing as how most BlackBerrys nowadays are released on multiple carriers at a time across the world. The Vodafone verison is said to have the same specs we revealed a little bit back. Viva la BlackBerry perla azul

    Newbie here to the site.

My basic question is…. will Verizon Wireless ever have Blackberry Pearl??

Seems like all the phones on VZW suck, and I need a PDA.

I’m curious to see what this phone will look like. I just can’t see it looking the same as the original. Especially, if it’s going to have the upgraded camera used horizontally. I’m sure they’re going to be marketing the crap out of this one. It’s got to look pretty hot!

Someone has a beta version of this phone right now. Who’s going to be the first to leak a picture or two for a quick sneak peek?

    Thanks!

VODAFONE actually owns a part of VERIZON…so they question is…will there be a correlation here?

I’m starting to think that Verizon might finally get some access to some Blackberries…since Verizon does have a large subscriber base here in the US. I wonder if there will be a Verizon + Blackberry promotion…there could be a few additional stuff available exclusively for Verizon too.

Mark my words, Sprint will be getting the Pearl 2 by years end. As well as a slew of other PDA/Smartphones. This is good for Sprints lineup as they don’t have a lot of those available. There are two upcoming phones from HTC, two new Treos and two Blackberrys one of which is the Pearl 2 and the other being a QWERTY EV-DO Rev. A BB which will likely have Sprints new HPPTT. These will be spread out between Q4 ‘07 and Q1 ‘08.
