Apple to host event on August 7th
No rest for the weary, huh? Apple has sent out invitations to a number of "important" press outlets (no love for BGR, Mr. Jobs?) advertising a press event scheduled for next Tuesday, August 7th. The invitations were apparently very clear about one thing: This is going to be a Mac only event. No iPhone hoopla, no updated Apple TVs, and no iPods. This will be pure, unadulterated Mac! Just what does Apple have in store for us? An iMac revision has been rumored for quite a while now, so we wouldn’t be surprised in the least if we got a dose of brushed metal iMac action. New Mac Pros wouldn’t be out of the question either. Whatever the case, all will be revealed in just under a week, so sit tight and hold off on your new Mac purchase for just a bit longer.
my money is on a new imac, but im hoping for the laptops to be updated as I’m more interested in getting one in the next few months. -UMPC would be nice.

I say an official tablet-to tie in to the idea of a UMMAC that test made. Or as obvious new iMac.

Damn, I was hoping they’d unveil a new iPod cause mine’s older than most 30gig Videos but wutev, I’ll just wait for next year when the new touch screen iPods come out.
