can anyone tell me why my microsoft exchange doesnt work or if there is something i need to download to my microsoft and why it keep freezing up this phone has sucked every since i got it and customer service is horrific…..PLS HELP

I would expect this will be leveraging the link up between Funambol (producers of a SyncML server) and Helios.

For a while now there’s been an exchange plugin for Funambol, and the company wants to make inroads with US networks.

I agree with you about the monthly fee, but at the same time there is a good chance your corporation pays for your device anyway, and if not $9.99 is not the biggest deal in the world for full Exchange sync. In addition, I might be wrong here, but I think that fee is non existent with the Helio All-In plan. I don’t believe this is a case of Helio being greedy so much, but rather a licensing deal with Microsoft, and ActiveSync.

Kudos to Helio for finally getting Exchange support, but I agree with Fred, what is the justification in the per month fee. Helio has great pricing plans and the Ocean is very close to an excellent phone (still missing WIFI capabilities). But this monthly fee seems to be too Verizonish for my tastes.

This is a very nice device (if it were gsm) I would consider getting it. But the additional charge makes no sense specially if its on top of an alredy expensive (I think) data plan. But hey it is a great phone. Kinda reminds me of the Sony Mylos.

Evan, Helio is a MVNO, you get the device from Helio. this seems a little pricey – what is the justification for a per-month fee for what is just additional data? It’s not like the data is flowing through Helio servers. Plus, Helio only offers shared minutes on the a la carte plan, so two phones with Exchange support would cost me $150 a month.

my fingers would not work well on the keyboard. Not enough space for top keys against the edge of the top section.
