i justgot the samsung t729 i had the t629 before. so far so good i got so i could have stereo bluetooth.. the qwerty keyboard is taking some getting use to but i like. i having problem running google maps, it downloads the software but give wont load! help someone!

my samsung t809 just recently broke [have no idea how]. i wasnt very please with that particular slider because through time it didnt slide too good. however i am looking for a more up to date samsung slider and this deffinatly got my interest. any one who has it please let me know how it is

I got the t729 a couple of days ago. You can download the google apps (maps and email etc) but I have not figured out a way to provide network access to them. When I start them up, I get a “network access denied” error. I was able to use the native clients for google mail tho.

And yes, email recv/send is using text messaging.
And also yes, it is myFaves compatible.

I currently use a Razor V-3 with T-Mobile and for the the last year, had excellant service with G-Mail Java Script download until 2 weeks ago. “T” finally admitted they cut off the third party download. I was told that the service was a test and that this “Blast” would be out soon that would be supported. I do use alot of e-mailing and really need this service and don’t need a full browser. Is this the answer for me in a device????

Someone please help me understand how a device like the t729 can be dismissed as being for young’uns? A slim, mid-tier handset with personal email client? There are millions of mobile users out there with zero interest/need to be tethered to work email…but would benefit from getting their own email anywhere, and not just when on network with tzones. For a sizeable “adult” audience, this is right on the money. Oh, it is unless only kids like music, since it has a music player nobody is mentioning.

This phone could come out but would it still make tmobile any better. I mean I personally think tmobile is great espically since they came out with the tmobile at home. I think its a great idea and something I couldn’t pass up on. But I am not on tmobile I am on cingular. There’s something about tmobile that just isn’t attracting me. If I had to sign a contract again with cingular I would. But for tmobile no thanks maybe they should do something to attract me.

Sorry to bust you bubble bg reader but the t729 doest support bb connect. I know for a fact that the only phone tmobile bb connect phone is the t719. The blaze has email but it doesn’t use blackberry or tzones it uses txt messaging.

Sorry to bust your bubble bg readers but the samsung blast t729 isn’t a bb connct.device the only samsung with is the t719. The new device will have email but not using tzones or blackberry but txt messages.

The Samsung T639 is a T-Mobile USA 3G approved phone so far. No word on launch for the phone or 3G, but hopefully by Sept, or Oct. Those are guess and subject to change. Also, no word if when they do launch 3G, that it will be nationwide. I too want to know when its gonna launch.

FYI The Nokia E65 is a slider that supports BlackBerry Connect, though it uses a standard numeric keypad with T9.

That slider looks good and while tmo doesn’t deliver work oriented devices that often or as often as cing at least they keep them interesting.

I love slim sliders! The t429 is cheap but is also very thin. More people should experience the slickness of a slick slim Samsung slider.
