The pie charts are no good for predicting right now. Once the sales pick up then they'll be worth something. At the moment the HiDef market is so tiny. It adorable watching HD and Bluray thump their chest proclaiming victory. Remember the cowboy and the roman from Night at the Museum -thats them and DVD is Gigantor :) HiDef is nice, but why do I need either when my DVR can record any HiDef movie for pennies compared to price of the dueling bozos. I still haven't purchased either an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray player, and I'm not going to, no matter how cheap they sell 'em, until the movie studios and technology companies settle on a format, or dual-format players become the norm.
