They do have Remote Desktop for Windows Mobile and 3rd party VNC clients for Windows Mobile for ex:

I’m looking for a VNC server that runs on the jailbroken iPhone and iPod touch. Is anyone working on this?

You might wonder why someone would wish for something like this. Many people need to be able to visualize and record the iPhone and iPod touch interface to develop tutorials, etc. The iPhone Simulator does not simulate the Apple apps or any app for which you do not have the source. Even mobile Safari, which is on the iPhone Sim, fails to behave like the real mobile Safari, especially in the area of video.

Just shows how far a good marketing campaign will take you. I am looking to see if apple is supporting RDP (Terminal services) as we have been using on Windows mobile devices for years. It seems the answer is no, and therefore i’ll stick to the windows mobile platform, and leave these phones for the misinformed.

I use files2phones for on my iphone for remote access, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a secure, all access app. that is easy to install and cheap. They have a free version at www. pc2me.net.

Wake up, kid. This has been native to Windows mobile for years. And it doesn’t cost any $499 either. It’s free, native, and included with the OS.

RE: remote ssh access on WinMobile. I do it all the time with Terminal Services on my 8525. I’m researching the concept of swaping to a Iphone and was wondering if it could do remote abbility, which now I see it does. I’m starting to really like this Iphone thing.

Nothing happens when I run the program. A password is already filled in the box it never asks me to create one?

Also on the safari end it couldnt load it.

Look around! There are at least several good clients for Windows Mobile. They even build it (Terminal Services) into some phones (Treo WX)with the stock load. It interfaces FREE technology thats already built into Windows XP and Vista (Remote Desktop) and every server 2003 and later (Remote Desktop, Terminal Server).
