wow this sidekick is certainly….different. im probably still goign to get it tho because of the (hopefully) better screen resolution. also im hoping thats its skiiny and will be actually able to fit in my pockets…. it kind of looks like a toy tho… please release specs on this!
So it looks like they eliminated the directional pad? The speaker’s built into the screen now, surrounding the logo…interesting decision. Looks a little thinner? Overall dimensions are otherwise the same, I imagine.
The reason probably most aren’t really mentioning the logo is that it has been known for like over 3 months that motorola was working with Danger to create a new sidekick device. That or everyone is just looking at how toyish yet some what hot it is lol.
That’s because even though Sharp manufactured the SK 1,2, and 3, Danger still controls all the patents over the device and always controls the development of the device. They don’t merely provide the OS.
Doesnt it depends on who owns the patent or to whom the device belong to? Just because Sharp created the devices prior doesnt mean Danger doesn’t holds the rights to it. Danger could’ve paid Sharp for the design and hardware design and from there have Danger claim it as there own. Unless I’m mistaken of course lol.
Sweet Even without anything I am still the first to post. I hope people can post actual comments and not some gibberish.

Sharp should sue the crap out of Motorola for this. It looks way too much like every other Sidekick. Isn’t that against patent law?
