iPhone coming to Canada
We may not know when, where, or how, but we do know one thing. The iPhone is coming to Canada. That is, of course, if you trust Best Buy (we won’t blame you if you don’t). The evil empire big box retailer has set up an information page on their Canadian site, giving Canucks the option to sign up for future iPhone updates, and confirming, in so many words, that the iPhone is on its way to the Northern side of North America.

wow, is this real? i was under the impression that att signed a multi-year agreement with apple?? someone please clarify.
yes they did sign a multi year agreement, only for the US.
Wow I am so happy for canada. Now what will RIM do.
would prefer unlocked 3G/3.5G smartphone with Wifi.

i don’t understand why bestbuy is promoting the iPhone if they dont even carry rogers. i know we’re getting it in august, and apparently only the 4gb version, so ive heard… but i’m thinking otherwise. ive heard that bestbuy (and futurehshop) are going to start carrying rogers come christmas too… time will tell
RIM already has the business market locked. no corporation or business is going to buy the iPhone for their business… so i dont think RIM will have anything to worry about.
The iPhone is shit. I don’t think that anybody cares about it anymore. I don’t care if you do care about it, just go to http://www.mobileplanet.com and get something that’ll blow that p.o.s outta the water…like a Nokia E61i or an HTC Touch or even a Moto MING.

I work for the only company that can support the Iphone north of the boarder (Rogers) and from personally having a phone call with Ted about this, NO DICE for the next 3 qrts. However, there is a stipulation, if Apple can get rid of all the problems the AT&T version has had (Apple is working on an updated version, but I don’t know where they stand on that) then it can be released a wee bit earlier. But I doubt it, Teds pretty strict when it comes to phones working and he learned not to just jump in on a device because it sells (He learned with the dreaded Chocolate, Overall the chocolate has been at a repair center more times then the amount sold, no joke).
So expect to wait a while kids.
K, all i want to know is when the Iphone will be coming to canada.. at future shop.. or what ever .. cuz what i want to do is buy an apple ipod.. and a chocolate phone or a razer or sumthing.. but then i heared of the Iphone and my mom said just buy that when it comes to canada.. but i dont want to wait a year for it and i no alot of ppl that are planning on buying it right away!!!.. ESPECIALLY ME i already have alot of money saved and im only in my young teens.. and i rlly want to buy it so .. just give me an answer to when it will be coming out!!!
