Oh Palm, considering the length of time that you’ve been in the game, we’d expect you to have a better sense of what it takes to succeed. You know, frequent innovation, new product releases, and ahead-of-the-curve design practices. Ah well, there’s only so much you can do, we suppose. The latest bit of bad news to come out of the Palm camp involves Palm’s upcoming switch to a Linux based operating system. Originally promised for later this year, the company is now saying the it won’t see the light of day until some time in 2008. This, coupled with the absurdly lackluster Foleo, doesn’t bode well for Palm’s chances in the coming year. Poor guys!
