I’ve had my Helio Ocean for several months now and it is a bit buggy. What really pisses me off though is not only the crappy camera that stamps Helio across your photo when you Upload. But the fact that when you upload the photo the resolution becomes undefined. It’s embarassing considering the hype surrounding the phone itself.

Does everything I require and more.
I payed out $200 to sprint so I could close out and get my helio and I have NO regrets

when connected via usb to my mac it charges, slowly, but will not transfer info. basically does not wok with mac.

same thing in palo alto, ca. it’s acroos the street from apple. apple’s jam packed all hours. helio is a ghost town.

i have had the helio ocean for about two weeks now. their system and the phone are in need of much improvement. the ocean is cool looking and does have potential, but helio is not utilizing it. i’ve had many issues with the phone and helio’s service which continue without fix even though i have contacted helio’s tech staff regarding these issues. the ocean continuously crashes when on line and can not be revived unless you remove the battery, which is very difficult to get out, wait ten seconds and replace. the backlight on the ocean will remain lit at times even with the phone in stand by mode draining the battery unless you power it down and then restart it. at times when sliding the ocean open it displays a frozen static appearing screen and will hold there one to seven seconds loading or whatever it’s doing or not doing. the coolest thing about the ocean is the gps locator that will show your position in a street map or google earth, satellite, format with turn by turn directions, very cool. however, the google maps application has not loaded a half dozen times for me just in the past two days, very frustrating. helio currently offers a thirty day satisfaction period. i will be terminating my service:(

I’ve been using their service for almost 2 yrs. Nothing but issues with them. They try to act hip on the phone with new music but sound quality is 1955. Not to mention phones don’t have sims. Don’t connect to Macs even though they said they were working on it when I joined. I’m just waiting for the 3rd generation of iPhone to get out of using this service. They are only losing money.

Helio will be dead within the year. Their churn and the simple fact that MVNO’s just don’t work in the U.S. will kill them soon enough.

Helio opened up a huge store in Santa Monica on the 3rd street prominade. It looks a lot like an Apple store. The difference? The only thing I see going in and out of that store is tumbleweeds. I’ve probably looked in there the last 10 trips walking by on my way to the apple store, but only saw 1 customer once.
