Nokia sees touch screens and movement sensors in our future

With the iPhone touch screens all the rage these days, it’s no wonder that Nokia felt they pulled a "doh" when they stated that they felt touch screens were not in their future. Now that they’ve flipped the script on that, not only do they feel like touch screens are going to be the wave of the future, they also suggest that movement sensors will likely be coming. "Optical sensors and touch will be the next big things," Nokia Chief Technology Officer Tero Ojanpera said in Singapore on Monday ahead of the CommunicAsia telecom fair. "I believe there will be a lot of innovation around these." If movement sensors become the next big thing, with a certain turn designed to dial a specific person (for example), it begs the question…will this make it more or less easy to drunk-dial that one chick?

I think your translator is broken Vic. That made no sense at all.

I’m pretty sure the iPhone already has “movement sensors” and a touch screen. So basically the future begins on the 29th?

@Shon I see that now I didn’t make it very clear but what I had intended on saying was: they have flipfloped between using touch screens and not using them. That’s all.
