Vista more secure than OSX and Linux?

Before you read too far into it, note that the Security Guy that wrote the report is actually a Microsoft employee, but it still creates a decent amount of questions for those trying to abuse Vista and its potential security pitfalls. And regardless of how jaded you might thing the author may be, it’s tough to ignore the data they used, which does make Vista look, dare we say, moderately impressive. As long as "sluggish" isn’t one of their categories, of course. Jump ahead for the full report.

I hate these reports they do nothing for the actual product because when the source of the report is found it makes them seem more vulnerable. Then again they make a lot more money so why should I care if some one made the report look better for their product than it really is.

thank you gregory cling for yet again breaking non-news.
A microsoft employee does a study of how great vista is, maybe the next report should be how RIM says they do email very well. Come on, dont waste more time with stupid posts….

actually it was the other way around, “just when i think you couldn’t get any dumber”, you go and make a great post about the rolling keyboard.

    1 out of 2 isn’t too bad.

the reson thers not that many xploitts for vista yet i becaus it is not heavily adopted/suported by corperate america/business / th pc gamers nothing> now XP lets be honest it’s not hard to write exploits fro the NTOS kernal with a fewl lssond from NT workstation and 2k OSX from what I hear vrom avid apple users is pretty unstable.

Olot mor people use Gentoo linux then Ubuntu ubuntu from what i hear is a good beginners aproach when starting to us linux. Also the ffact that this is written by an M$ employee just tlles me ther trying to plug the latest product rather than give any real UNBIASED security data.
