Secret smoker outed by Google Maps
It’s not rare that many people Google themselves. In fact, you can find out some pretty interesting things about yourself that way. Rarely would you expect, though, that pictures of you standing outside your office grabbing a secret smoke break would enter into the equation. Kevin Bankston, outed by a search Google’s "Street Maps" for "Kevin Bankston smokes" is a recent victim, though. As privacy issues abound, it’s no wonder that people would begin to freak when photos of their everyday life start to show up in searches. At least this time it was only a cigarette.

Wow, and I thought the Presidential election was a total waste of time…??!!! :O/
Slow news day? Must be with these posts..
I heard of this from my local news, thought funny but stil not that important and now I know how unimportant it is.
What’s more likely, a leading digital privacy attorney happens to be caught twice on film thus proving the point he’s fighting against, or the whole thing is completely staged to gain publicity for is point?
It’s millions of times more likely that this was all staged and is a complete, utter lie.
It looks like all references to Kevin on google have been deleted. This Business Week article said there were 20,000 links to “Kevin Bankston smokes”:

Did Google wipe out all links to discussions of this or did Kevin request that?
