Comments on: Motorola and Sprint have widespread data provisioning issues

It’s NOT just HEX ESN’s that begin with zero. DEC that begin with zero pose the same problem. I purchased two of the RAZR’s, not knowing about the problem and whala! no workee. Sent them back to get two KRZR’s thinking that it only applied to the RAZR’s. You see, Sprint’s sales department is not in contact with their tech support department, so the rep gladly sent out two more defective phones–the KRZR’s. And once again, I was disappointed with two pieces of worthless equipment. All of these have the DEC ESN that begin with zero (HEX begins with a one). What pisses me off is that I ordered them the middle of JULY. This topic was created the middle of JUNE!! So don’t believe for a minute that Sprint has pulled the handsets from the shelf. They’re still happy to ship you JUNK.

You moto bashers are fucking morons. The problem is with Sprint’s provisioning system and how it interprets the hex, not a problem with the moto phone itself. Grow a pair.

Well I am ashamed to say I don’t even know what all this means. I have said RAZR show in the pic.

Mine seems to work ok. Hate texting on that dang thing. Only bought it as cheap contract phone to get me through until Blackberry/Sprint came out with new phone. I had no idea I would be stuck in this wasteland waiting for so long.

Barnacles…grr!

But soon, my salvation shall come for a blackberry is on its way to me from our very own BG!
