HTC Kaiser delayed till August?

Yeah guys, it’s that same HTC Kaiser we’re talking about. The intel from our always-reliable-super-excellent-slightly-demanding HTC source, is that the HTC Kaiser is now delayed from July, to August. Not much is known at this point just why HTC has made that decision, but it could be because of some carrier pressure to not give up on their current HTC TyTN variants quite yet. Also you can best believe their trying to get a really solid OS ready for such an impressive device. Viva la HTC!

    HTC: Huh?

ATT: ::Att puts arm around HTC:: Yeah yeah, lookie here kid, this ain’t about phones, it’s about making money, you understand?

    HTC: I guess…

ATT: Good, now go climb back in your hole and make some more devices and we’ll call you when we’re ready.

Jimbo - This thing IS amazing. I know people who have gotten their hands on beta versions and it is an amazing phone. I really want one and this will not be great if this is true.

AT&T probably want to wait until iPhones sales start to flatten then make the Kaiser the next hot phone available to spike sales.

Why’s everyone blaming this delay on ATT? ATT will most likely delay the launch of this device even further but that only concerns the US market. HTC will sell it overseas, like every other device it manufactures, 2 months before its sold under a carrier in the US.

WM6 is still buggy - perhaps they want to fix the problems with memory leaks and activesync not working correctly?

Juice…hilarious skit. I think I’ll work on the cartoon strip and post it in here.

Though I really like my BB Curve, I still want to try this puppy out…see what’s its all about. I guess I can wait.

Windows Mobile 6 has been very solid and stable on my HTC Hermes. Go to XDA forum and check for yourself. Perhaps HTC would like to add TouchFlo onto Kaiser. Not a big deal to me but it would be nice add-on.

Let’s hope that they add on support for SDHC microw SD cards and a better Bluetooth stack to actually be able to use Voice Command out of the box, unlike the Hermes. That would make it perfect in my mind, but I’m easy. At least this gives me a few more paychecks to save from and a little more time to convince my wife that I should spend that savings.

All kinds of problems with WM6 on the Dash and the Wing. I can’t get it to sync correctly even after an hour on the phone with Customer service.

I think WM6 was made for speedier hendhelds

I´m thinking on buying it at Spain or USA (I have relatives in both countries), and bring it to Argentina…
    Unfortunately, I think that’s the only way…
