Apple iPhone sighting?

Looks like they’re out there, and no, we don’t just mean in Walt and David’s hands…we mean out there. Check out this flick of someone using what almost definitely appears to be an iPhone. He’s all listening to Journey probably, reminiscing about The Sopranos season finale. Rock on! This was taken on the Caltrain in San Francisco. It’s so close we can taste it.
Thanks, Mr. iPhone!
Update: Does anyone think that the guy in the picture resembles Mike Matas? He’s Apple icon designer extraordinaire.
Thanks, Alex!

From what I’ve heard, most people on the iPhone team have one. Something about dogfood.

I would have asked him if the keyboard s**cked if I was the person taking the pic. And seriously whats up with the 6pm being sold? Thats stupid. Also I wonder how that keyboard is going to be because the VP of iPhone software at WWDC 07 Webcase had problems typing…

This may have already been announced, but I don’t have time to track so closely…will the iphone’s earphones double as a hands free kit? I mean, it would be really annoying if you’re jamming out on your tunes, and you had to take off your headphones and put the thing up to your ear if a call came in. Will you be able to just push a button and engage in conversation without having to take your headphones out of your ears?

@ Tman65: Funny!
It’s cool that Jobs will now allow third person software to be loaded on the iPhone. With this, the 8gb is a must I think!

I’ve been reading Mike Matas blog since the release of the iLife poster. I guarantee that’s him. Guarantee IT!!! Founder of Delicous Library - I personally feel his overall “design stamp” is all over the iphone. Afterall - I think he made the weather widget that defaults on dashboard - so again, that is most definately him.

Yeah that’s Mike.
One of my other friends on the iPhone team also one (which I got to play with, muhhahaha). He regularly carries it in public, and surprisingly no one has said anything to him about it yet.
