Motorola SCPL revealed!
It seems as only yesterday when we heard rumblings about the Motorola SCPL. Remember that first sketch? Well, finally we might have some closure with these exclusive pics and info! The SCPL (if this is indeed that model), has a 2 megapixel camera, supports video recording at a 320×240 resolution and it’s thinner than the RAZR 2. Want some more specs? No problem! Look for an extremely high resolution 240×320 display, quite possibly 16M colors, and quad-band GSM/EDGE compatibility. The SCLP runs the JUIX operating system, uses a microUSB port, has a KRZR type look to it, and is a lot slimmer than the Motorola L7. There also is not a visible memory card slot, but in the housing there was a spot below the battery where a memory card slot might be incorporated later. Since this is the first public showing of this phone, we’re guessing that it will be a little while before the announcement release! Also expect a ton of more shots from the Motorola SCPL in the next couple days! Jump on over to our gallery to check out all the shots!

motorolafans.com posted this a couple of days ago and reposted on howard forums. They were mysteriously taken down since. I’m guess moto will be coming after you next.
@eJay they also need to stop pumping out devices that are all for the most part the same. Why not develop something better. Maybe a device that is competing with the UMPC, but with mobile phone options. Or even a phone that pushes an envelope.

I think that’s not the “Motorola Scapel”.
I don’t think “Motorola” will show it earlier “Big Secret” because totally different with a part of picture from “Motorola Scapel” when “Motorola” show it when CES 2007.

The R612 on the screenshot would typically mean that it is the Symbian R612 baseline (at least for Nokia and Sony Ericsson phones). Can this be a UIQ phone like the Z8 rather than a JUIX crappy thingy?

The real Motorola Scapel will to be the thinnest phone (just 5 mm), the thinnest of Samsung phones has 5.9 mm. The real Motorola Scapel must has 5 element. The news of “Motorola Scapel” you can find if you not lazy to googling.

I think “Boy Genius Report” has wrong informations and wrong pictures.
Logically, the real “Motorola Scapel” is big secret, secret weapon and “Motorola” keep that secret for more than 4 years.
Remember about “GSMA 2007″ around February 2007? “Motorola” just show a photo of a small part the real “Motorola Scapel” and i think that’s really secret project. I don’t think “Motorola” easyly show to “Boy Genius Report” and “Engadget Mobile” without confirm from other website like CNBC, BBC, CNET and other famous website.
So don’t believe it!!!
