New Palm device in the wild
Could this be the new Treo form factor, an entirely new Palm branded device, or some sort of cruel joke concocted by Palm’s design team? For the sake of Palm lovers everywhere, we hope it’s the latter. This aesthetic abomination is Vodafone-branded, and appears to be running Windows Mobile standard, leading us to believe that this is the first Palm phone without a touchscreen interface. Nothing else is known, but rest assured that more details should surface in the the near future. Until then, I suggest we petition Palm to go back to the design room. Please. This thing looks worse than the i-mate JAQ.

palms answer to the curve maybe?

Its real…. I have one at my desk at work. Mine is gray though. The device is about the same size as the HTC 6800 which I also have.

@Mr D how I’d you go about getting one? And what are the starts on the machine? If it is that size how long is battery life?

I think RIM should just buy out Palm and than slowly take away Palm devices from the world. That would be best.

How much would it suck to work at Palm?!? I mean-knowing what technology is out there and seeing what feeble attempts your company is doing to try and stay in the game. It would be frustrating. I would be interested in seeing how many Palm employees actually have their feelers out and are aggressively seeking employment elsewhere. One of my favorite mags is T3(www.t3.co.uk) their motto is ‘Tommorow’s Technology Today’….Palm’s would be ‘Yesterday’s Technology Tommorow’. How many employees just turned around and rolled their eyes when they heard about the Foleo…and the Foolio, and mentally pulled the pin out of the grenade.
Oooo I know, next let’s produce a new bag phone…but it will be digital…TDMA of course..and it will have shoulder straps so that you can carry it around with you and still keep your hands free(that is of course as long as you duct tape the receiver to the side of your head).
