Got Curve?

Ok so here’s the deal. We can’t let Engadget Mobile’s relaunch giveaways completely drown us out, so we’re giving away a couple brand new BlackBerry Curves (AT&T branded, fully unlocked). All you gotta’ do to enter is simply leave a comment right here. We’ll pick two winners out of the bunch. Yes, two people will win. Please make sure that when you comment, you comment once, and you use your real email address so we can contact you if you win! Good luck!

UPDATE: Just a few clarifications. One, this is open to everyone, and that does include people outside of the USA! Two, it is not open to friends and family. Enough with the "can I enter and win since I’m your friend" emails! Look at it this way, if you don’t win, your a friend. And finally, the contest will end this Sunday, June 10th at 11:59PM. Winners will be announced the follow day.

Since the day one when Boy Genius published Blackberry Crimsonss information [October 13, 2006] I was excitingly looking for any information I could find about the 8300 on the net. I did spend hundreds of hours to find any bits and pieces about this phenomenal smart phone. I’ve been using a Treo 650 from 2004 – loved it’s simplicity, but weight and e-mail functionality couldn’t satisfy my wish. Went over Dash, HP IPAQ 69XX, Motorola Q, Samsung Black Jack numerous times, but again size, battery life, durability, and simplicity weren’t there. Curve weigh only 111g, size is perfect, can’t go wrong with e-mail, 3.5m jack is brilliant, mute button is a must have, Bluetooth with A2DP functionality is excellent, best smart-phone keyboard ever. Among others – 2 MP camera, GPS ready connectivity, 240 x 320 screen are real bonus. I am a commerce student at University of Toronto, Canada and patiently waiting Rogers to offer a good deal. I’ve also finished reading everything on CNet, Laptop Magazine, PC Magazine, Engadget, GSM arena etc and my craving for this device is driving me nuts. I wanted a Pearl, but I always knew – Thanks to BGR advance information – there will be a crimson. Surprisingly, iPhone didn’t have a great appeal on me as much as I have for the Curve. I understand the design implications regarding WiFi and GPS. It’s a good thing that RIM didn’t mess up the curve by implementing those options as iPaq did. We need to wait a few more quarters for those demanding options to work seamlessly.

I work hard to meet my ends need, but I won’t regret a bit if I have to work extra shifts beside my school to buy this extremely useful Godfather of Smartphone. Keep us posted Mr. Boy Genious; One day I will write for your site. Thank You so much.

The only thing better than a free Curve would be a free Curve with 3G, but I guess I need something to look forward to.
