not making any rumors , just looking at apples record in previous releases wether it was the iPod or power books , they maximized there sales making every one of us to get newest ,

omar, they do not. They now will focus their resources on getting their next OS out on time. After that then you can expect the next version. They would not even take the chance of hurting sales, tech leaks are very common due to people like BG. BTW, if you just want to bash apple then go ahead dont hide it in false rumors.

@victor – Thank you LOL. Seriously though a Berry with Wifi would be cool but they REALLY need to update their web browser I mean cmon RIM hook us up with a new browser. Maybe in OS 5.0 whenever thats coming out. I will be really disappointed if the mysterious 9xxx series doesnt have a newer browser.

Any way for the idea of v.2 they have already hinted that it will be at least 3G. I don’t know about the sim, that is going to be interesting. They might just have a slot to slide them into, I don’t know how much of that is also true never held one. So let wait.. The longer we wait the better it will be right….

@ejay I do remember that feeling and that is why I won’t do it for any product.

As for the wifi, if ATT is planning on releasing a hot-spot like service than it will be useful other wise better luck next time. Full system integration is great but not much use for ATT acount access, iTunes that will be a different story. Lets just wait for an actual release run. I happily will not be getting one right now, signs of future product releases are nice iPhone v.2 with 3G looks like a good deal. So I hope they release these other products sooner, just as they do for the iPod.

Just called my local AT&T store and asked about a contact list or waiting list. Nada for both. It’s good that they are following the rules set out by Apple and Corporate. Hopefully I’ll snag an iPhone on launch day.

How will an AT&T account be required if one buys an iPhone at the Apple store? Just watch this gadget will only increase the hiatus to iMac’s, iBooks, etc for the home use. I will have a Dell work laptop, Dell work PC, and an iMac at home…bets of all worlds.

My biggest worry is about the supply side of the launch. While Apple has never had a problem with the supply side at a launch (that I can remember) I have a feeling this is going to be a camping out type of episode. I know some people have said supply WONT be a issue but speaking with local AT&T stores who say they are only getting 15 if there lucky on launch day and the people on the pre order lists (even though AT&T doesnt allow them) being called first I dont see how even IF you camp out like a moron how it will be possible to get your hands on one. I cant recall the couple business magazines and blogs that said there will be a supply issue at launch also. I am certainly not camping out to give Apple & AT&T $600 + 2 years worth of service worth of my money. I want it ordered nice and comfortable. I hate these camping lines and stuff remember when you could just buy stuff on release date? Comments anyone?

i just want 1 phone i can use for work and personal – outlook calendar, work email, personal email, internet, text messaging, calls, slingbox…why is that so difficult?

This phone will really be impressive if they ensure that you can sync with other email clients besides outlook. The more they support the better. My guess is that you will see another phone in the not too distant future from apple with increase capacities in battery and storage…since they (AT&T and Apple) are going to announce multiple products in the future. Just my guess with no inside knowledge.
